Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your Fin Folders subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting our support team at support@finfolders.com.

Upon cancellation:

  • Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period (monthly or annual)
  • You will not be charged for the next billing cycle
  • Access to paid features will continue until the period ends
  • Your account will automatically downgrade to the free plan (if available) after the period ends

2. Refund Policy

As a general rule, subscription payments are non-refundable. Given the nature of our digital service, we do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods once access has been granted.

3. Exceptions — When Refunds Are Considered

We will review and consider refund requests in the following exceptional circumstances:

  • Duplicate payment: If you were charged more than once for the same subscription period due to a technical error
  • Billing error: If an incorrect amount was charged due to a platform error
  • Service unavailability: If the platform was unavailable for an extended, unplanned period (more than 72 consecutive hours) and you were unable to access your account
  • Unauthorised transaction: If you report an unauthorised payment promptly and evidence supports the claim

Refund requests under the above circumstances must be raised within 7 days of the transaction date by contacting us at support@finfolders.com.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please email us at support@finfolders.com with the following details:

  • Registered email address on your Fin Folders account
  • Transaction ID or Razorpay payment ID
  • Date of payment and amount
  • Reason for the refund request

We will review your request and respond within 5–7 business days. Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.

5. Annual Subscriptions

For annual plan subscribers, we do not offer pro-rated refunds for the unused portion of the subscription year. However, you may cancel at any time and retain access until the annual period expires.

6. Starter Plan (Free)

Fin Folders does not offer a free trial. Instead, every registered account has permanent access to the Starter Plan at no cost. The Starter Plan is available to all users from the moment they create an account and does not require a payment method or expire after a set period.

If you choose not to upgrade to a paid plan, you may continue using the Starter Plan indefinitely with no charge.
